A New Elder

This is Elder Daniel Garcia from Georgetown, Texas. He is on his last leg of his mission having only three months left. He reminds us a lot of Cory's friend Jon Hawkes. He is a bit hyper and driving Elder Quintero crazy. (bear in mind that Elder Quintero is 25 almost 26). He describes him as the squirrel on "Over the Hedge" a pretty accurate comparison. Yet we enjoy his energy and enthusiasm. We celebrated his 21st birthday yesterday.
The zone here has been changed to totally bilingual. Meaning all the missionaries here will have to be able to speak Spanish. There is no longer a set of Spanish Elders. So Cory has to learn Spanish. His companions are trying to teach him some things. I did draw the line when they said our home should be all Spanish speaking. No offense to anyone, but I still think we need to speak English in America. We love our new Elder, but always miss the ones who left us. Elder Johnson was a great leader and has moved on to Idaho Falls as a district leader.
