Family time

We had a great time last week with family here to celebrate Mom & Dad's 6oth wedding anniversary. Yep that is right 60 years. (April 8) and Mom's 80th birthday (Sept. 13). On the 25th 20 of us went to West Yellowstone. After a picnic lunch in the city park we went to shop and shop and shop in the quaint little tourist trap shops. I bought more decor items for my basement. Later we went to the Playmill Theater to see "Hello Dolly" The show was good as they always are there. Saturday we met at Airport Park for the main celebration. Lots of fun visiting with those who could make it. We missed those who were unable to come. Thanks to all, Mom and Dad loved seeing you and enjoyed the week.

I know Adele put this on her blog, but I'm using it too. Color coordination was purely coincidental.

Frog jumping contest.

We put a bunch of coins in the straw for the kids to find. Adults were only helping kids that couldn't find any.

Give me a home where the buffalo roam. These painted buffalo are all over West Yellowtone. They are gorgous.

This is the only bear we saw in West Yellowstone. I'm glad he was friendly.

This sunflower was too awesome not to take a picture of. Good concept of surviving adversity.

What a fun time we all had. Hope it was ok to post that pic on my blog too. It is really a good one and you can tell we are a couple of really proud grandmas. I will have to e-mail you the one Paul took. You will love it.

Those buffalo are really cool looking. And mom that was a lovely shot of that sunflower. Nicely done!
